By downloading or using RideCalm, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Description of Service
RideCalm is a wellness application that plays a 100 Hz sine wave through headphones to help reduce motion sickness symptoms. The app is based on vestibular research from Nagoya University, Japan, and is intended for general wellness purposes only.
Medical Disclaimer
RideCalm is NOT a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The 100 Hz tone is based on published research and is intended for general wellness use only. If you experience persistent motion sickness or dizziness, consult a healthcare professional. Results may vary.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use RideCalm. Users under 18 should use the app with parental or guardian supervision.
Subscriptions & Payments
- RideCalm offers auto-renewing subscriptions: Weekly ($2.99/week) and Yearly ($29.99/year)
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions)
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change
Hearing Safety
RideCalm recommends using the app at 70-80% volume. Prolonged exposure to loud sounds may damage hearing. You are responsible for adjusting volume to a comfortable and safe level. Do not use the app at maximum volume for extended periods.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use RideCalm only for its intended purpose. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app. You may not redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the app or its content.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and audio in RideCalm are owned by Gurkan Kuzu. The RideCalm name and logo are trademarks. You may not use them without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
RideCalm is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to health-related outcomes, hearing damage from improper volume settings, data loss, or service interruptions.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
